Best 40¨ LCD around the £1200-£1400 mark

What's people's thoughts on the current best 40¨ on the market, which is around the £1200-£1400 mark?

I've been looking around and the new Sony KDL-40W4000 seems to be pretty hot at the moment but i wanted other people's views.

I've currently got a Bravia, so i'm happy with Sony products but was wondering if there's anything else on the market i should be looking at too?

Is there anything else on the horizon that's worth waiting for? Perhaps a 100hz model from Sony?

Thanks in advance

if you can wait till september there is a W4500 100hz coming otherwise the 40W4000 is excellent and with your budget you afford the 46",other choices are Samsung A656,Toshiba ZF355

Do you think it's worth waiting for the 100hz version? The budget is more an ¨up to £1400¨ 46¨ is too big for the room i have (3 meters from the screen). I've had a 50¨ in the past and sitting that close it looks terrible, so 40¨ suits well

3m is fine for a 46" but anyway. If you can wait yes the W4500 will be even better but already the W4000 is excellent
