Confused!!!!!

All I want is a replacement for my old TV, 32" screen and watch mainly BBC,ITV and a few DVD's, and sport.
Look up reviews and forums and keep reading that LCD is not so good for SD or sport, think one minute I have found a good suggestion only to be foiled the next by someone elses negative views.
Help!!!!

Mate, the more you search those review sites and these forums the more you'll find differing opinions on each and every set available. I had that problem myself. Just seems never ending, always lots of good reviews and bad for the same sets. Your best bet really as I always say is to go into a showroom such as John Lewis or similar, take a look at all the sets have a play around with em see what you think. Then go home, search for the cheapest price on whatever model you think is best and buy it Or get JL to pricematch it if you can for their 5 year warranty.
