Probs with windows live & windows media player 11

Hiya
Firstly apologies if i already posted this b4
I can't remember if i had
I use windows live messenger (all up-to date) and is the latest version
And i play music using windows media player (also all up-to date) and is the latest version
The trouble is after a few songs played my little pics that move like these ----> stop moving and then windows live gets a pop up saying its encountered a problem and then shuts itself down
Does anybody have any ideas
I have tried un-installing windows live and then re-installing it but nothing
I don't use stuff like sweet im or anything like that that carries spy-ware etc
Nor do i have any tool-bars installed
Im at a loss as what to try next

Hi, the only thing I can think of.......

At the top off of messengers main window under your name and where you can enter your motto, there’s a little down arrow. Click it and un-tick "Show what I’m listening to" maybe when media player changes track its not telling messenger properly and crashing it.
