:( I hope I'm in the right forum, but I need advice.
I have lost my background colours for my homepage (iGoogle) and the 'themes' that I'd selected from the 'Select a Theme' header and there are no colours at all in the colour 'palettes' that are on emails and other sites. I cant change the size of text to use in emails, either.
I had all of the forementioned until about 4 weeks ago when I changed to IE7.I dont know what's gone wrong. Has anyone any idea, please? I use IE 7 and Mozilla Firefox browsers and have Windows XP 2002 SP2.

Have you tried signing in?

Yes, Singh400, I sign in every day. Makes no difference. One of my mates has impaired vision, so I've always sent emails in large text, but cant do it now...on either browser. Its a real mystery.

Can you provide a picture of the colour palette without any colours in?
It sounds like it may be some sort of problem with javascript or similar but I didn't think IE and Firefox used the same javascript interpreter.
Do the advanced forum post colour and font controls on a forum like this one work?

I cant provide a picture of the blank palette in my email (Yahoo), but all the squares containing the text size, text style, bold, text colour etc are all just blank. Clicking on any of them produces nothing. The advanced forum post colour and font controls here are just the same...blank!

Javascript not Java - different things.
You could try a third browser like opera (http://www.opera.com/) - if both firefox and IE aren't working it seems unlikely that will work but perhaps not being installed when the problem started might help.
