This made my day, Alien Quadrilogy
Bought Alien Quadrilogy for £15, reduced from £70 at HMV (went in originally looking for presents, but yeah), i know you could probably get it cheaper on the 'net but still, i think its a darn good deal! 9 disks, directors and theatrical cut, woop!
Oh, and i just started renting it...(again.)
Meh

It is £9.99 online at HMV. I paid £30 a few years back now and still haven't watched any of it.

How about paying £400 for each Star Trek TNG/DS9/Voyager Series. Now a whole TNG series can be bought for £70. I also paid similar prices for X Files.
I bought the Quadrilogy even though I had the Legacy set and it has been on the shelf since.

It was in the days when cheap DVD's didn't exist and people didn't think they were go for so few quid in a really short time. Also, there was no such thing as re-releases.

I've got the plastic head edition though it's the UK Quadrilogy in it (no DTS on Aliens or Alien 3). It cost me £65 about three years ago. I must have watched the first two about 20 times since then though!

I too bought the legacy set when it first came out (about £60 then, I think), but you must check out the 'quadrilogy' as it is far,far superior, in both picture and sound, to the legacy set!
I remember trading in my legacy set for £30 and replacing it with the quadrilogy when it first came out (and misspriced at Woolworths for £16.00),a superb improvement and great investment.
