Sound insulation in false wall (choices and fitting)

Hello All,

Building a false wall and want to fill the void that isn't filled with cables with sound insulation, and the most common thing for that seems to be rockwool. So:-

Does anyone know a decent supplier (looked on the interweb and there isn't anything obvious for someone with no idea).

Is there any benefit from using slab or roll?

How do I fix it to a vertical wall so it doesn't slump? (should I see question above...?)

Does anyone know anything about how effective sheeps wool might be?

Thanks for reading

I'm suprised no one has replied to you yet.

This website has some good guides how to soundproof walls.

Not bought anything from here before.

As for slumping, you can either use a spray adhesive or we've just packed it in tight enought so it wont slump. We also bought acoustic mineral wool from our local building suppliers.
