Is ITV HD's bitrate high enough for football?

Noticed that ITVHD's tests are running at less than 11,000 kbits/s. This compared to BBC HD at 16,500 or Sky Sports 1 HD's 19,000.

Luxe HD manages OK on about 11,000 kbits/s, but it is a very 'static' channel with no fast moving action.

I'm sure it was posted on here the Champions League final was good on ITVHD

There are some screen grabs on the net somewhere... looks good to me.

Cl final looked good on a 108" screen, better than anything the bbc hd had to offer during 6 nations or fa cup.
