Imac to TV

OK, I have rented my first film and the 24" Imac is just not big enough! Does anyone know of the easiest way to hook the Imac up to my LCD TV for video and sound?

Thanks

Re: Imac to TV

I have a mini DVI to DVI adapter....then a DVI to HDMI cable to my Plasma.

For Audio, i just use the 3.5mm jack to stereo phono. Does the job

Some do, some don't.

I know the headphone jack on a MBP doubles as an optical out, so maybe it is the same for the iMac too?

Wow - thanks, sounds complicated but will give it a go if I have the leads. The film I rented from iTunes yesterday looked great on the iMac but not sure it will hold when blown up on a 40" LCD.

Re: Imac to TV

If it's an Intel iMac then the audio out jack accepts analog and digital connectors, though you'll need a special cable such as this, or an adaptor like this
