Can a broadband filter affect a wireless card?

The power in the house had to go off a short while ago.
Now my wireless card intermittently tries to connect to my hub, then goes off again a few seconds later.
I've tried everything I can think of, the only thing left is the broadband filter.
I can connect to the hub with a network cable, which a real pain.

Anyone have any idea if I'm right ?

Re: Can a broadband filter affect a wireless card?

The filter could affect the broadband coming into your router but your saying that you are dropping connection between router and wireless card.

Are you able to connect to the internet when you do manage to connect to the router ?

It will not be your filter.

Borrow another wireless adapter or a machine with wireless to see if it it the router or the PC/wireless adapter.
