Exclamation Lost or stolen mobile ... Please Read.

If you have lost your mobile, have a look here http://www.immobilise.com/how_does_it_work_iframe.html .Though be aware this only works if the IMEI has not been changed and most handset IMEI can be altered quite easily.
http://www.immobilise.co.uk

Provider contacts to block a handset or find out if an IMEI is blocked , ( tip of the day-- Orange are central to this so a call to Orange should quickly be passed to all providers even if you are not with them ).

Orange
Pay as you go: 07973 100451
Contract: 07973 100150

Vodafone
Pay as you go: 08700776655
Contract: 07836 191191

O2
Pay as you go: 08705 678678
Contract: 08705 214000

T-Mobile
0845 4125000

Virgin
0845 6000789

Due to the possibility of fraud the AV Forums will not allow discussion on how to unlock locked or blocked mobile phones.

If you find a mobile phone our advice is to hand it in to your local police station.

If you have a problem with your own locked phone please speak to your service provider.

I just found a Mobile Phone behind my house in a field.

It's a Nokia 6100, and its IMEI numbers already been locked. What should I do with it? Take it to polics station?

Even if the original Owners get it back won't it be useless to them, or can they have the phone "unblocked" so to speak?

Cheers

Take it to your local police office so the phone can be reunited with it's owner. The phone can be unblocked however that is illegal for a non authorised person to do.

I'm with BT Mobile but they're not on your list, so...........
Lost or stolen, call 0800 0322 111.

Had a quick look on the '3' website and found only this number 08707 330 333

Nope - BT Cellnet became O2, then BT sold it off to pay it's debts & formed BT Mobile which actually uses the Vodafone network.

This is all very good, but how can I find out if the mobile I bought off ebay a few months back has recently been reported stolen? It's stopped working and will only allow SMS messages. No voice in or out. I can't figure out if the phone is faulty or reported stolen.
