Just a quick heads up, the public beta begins soon. So get over to Connect (http://connect.microsoft.com/) and sign up for it. If you don't know what Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 read this (http://blogs.technet.com/homeserver/archive/2008/01/06/windows-home-server-power-pack-1.aspx).

i have a few questions though:god:

i've signed up with connect now and got this heading:-

"Welcome to the Windows Home Server site on Microsoft Connect

Congratulations! You have successfully signed up for the public beta of Windows Home Server Power Pack 1."

so all i have to do is wait for it to come out now then??

will this be a download or shipped on a cd??

cheers

Chuck:)

You will have to wait for the program to start, meanwhile set up your newsgroup access (tut on Connect). Once it does start, it will be mostly likely distributed via download.

Don't forget to do a full backup before trying it guys.
I am sure something WILL go wrong, it is just a case of whether you are one of the "lucky" ones...

To all those signed up, you should have an email updating you on the upcoming WHS Power Pack.

Since I upgraded to Power Pack 1 and choose the Add-Ins option I no longer see a list of my installed Add-Ins.

The Add-Ins are still there though so I can't uninstall or anything

Anyone else seen have this problem?
