Hi,

Haven't seen the film, so can't comment on the quality or lack thereof. However, I have heard and read some quite important info about this film and its UK DVD release.

The UK cinema version of "Daredevil" had about 4 minutes of excessive, and bloody violence removed, by the distributors, before it was sent to the BBFC. When the BBFC saw it, it was given a 15, rather than risk the whole "Spider Man" (12a) certificate debacle again.

The UK DVD release, will feature the same pre-cut version, and hence, those of you who want to see the film as the director originally intended, should stick to importing the R1 edition. Or at least wait until a superior R1 version is released.

I like the way Total Dvd say they've managed to secure the release when even Play have it listed.
The longer cut sounds sweet but how much later are people expected to wait, or suffer the studios bleed you dry two buy...

I understand the extended version will be accessible via seamless branching. That's what the press releases have said anyway.
