Twin Peaks

Ive just got the first series.

I already own Fire walk with me, but not sure which comes first and what order to watch in. Does fire walk with me come first or do I watch the series first?

You need to watch both seasons first, then watch Fire Walk With Me.

So you'll have to wait for Season 2 to be released I'm afraid.

I'm still hoping that Lynch stops being a git and finally comes round to working on re-releasing Fire Walk With Me with the deleted scenes. This will add a lot of depth to many of the characters and no doubt shed some new spins on the plot.

It is a prequel of sorts, but it will ruin the series if you watch it first. Pleeeassee dont!

It certainly will. There's also little point watching it before the series as most of it will make very little sense until you start to watch the series... by which time you will have realised that you've ruined your viewing experience, as KRRK says.

if any of you haven't seen season 2 (god was it really 12 years ago?) stop watching after episode 8 - it goes down hill so fast - Wyndom Earle oh dear, oh dear

Episode 8 reveals Lauras killer, if you watch season 1 then the first 8 from season 2 you have about 14 hours of the best telly ever made - its awesome, fantastic, groundbreaking stuff. after that it gets abit silly (yes i know its all silly but those last 22 episodes were a bit rough.)

Hey its only my opinion - i loved TP, i was obsessed by it for a while.

Anybody else have any thoughts?

Gary

Knowing Laura's killer has little to do with the main plot in Twin Peaks. It's a small side issue. How can you turn off after that episode?! Admittedly most of America did too, but the rest of the plot hasn't even come close to being resolved at that point!

The last three episodes in season two are by far the best in the series, Lynch knew the series had been canceled and went nuts. The very last episode is a real cracker I can't wait to see that one again Hows Annie
