cheap pal60 usb video capture required

i have about 3 or 4 VHS tapes in NTSC that i'd like on the pc or dvd but my dvd recorder seems to be playing up and i don't think it can handle pal 60 (liteon 5005). i've seen cheap usb capture cards online for about £20 so i was wondering if any can handle ntsc vhs played back on a uk vcr in pal60, as for £20 that would do the trick

it's just ntsc camcorder footage, although the main tape i really want is from a tv broadcast (the tv studio gave me the tape as i'm in it).

i also want usb (i already have a pci dazzle card from years back that i don't use, but it wouldn't capture pal60) as my pci sockets are full on my main pc's and i wanted to use it with a laptop. i'm not looking for top quality, just a cheap fix so composite video would be fine. the tape is from a few years ago so i can't get it on dvd. i'm not sure when i'm next in the states otherwise i'd get it recorded over there, and as i can't get another copy i don't want to mail it anywhere (think about it as being your only copy of your wedding video for example)

any ideas?

I have a PCI one for sale in the classifieds at the mo. It took me a while to dig out a chipset that supports PAL60, as it isn't that commonly supported. I know you want USB but it might be worth a look? couldn't you swap a PCI card out temporarily while you capture?

not really, otherwise i'd be using the one i have for other stuff. (the pc that would have worked is packed choc full - with way more than it should have inside) also for space/logistic reasons i don't have any vcr's hooked up to any tv's, but i have a vcr at the bottom of an av rack and i could stick the laptop on the top of the turntable and plug in that way (which is what i'm going to do to rip files via usb from my humax pvr)
