Hi all. Recently had a problem with my Dell computer and had to totally reformat and start again. Seems to have got rid of whatever was causing the problems but a few niggly ones remain. When my daughter goes onto you tube she cannot play any vids as the message on screen says javascript off or I need to update adobe flasher player. installed adobe flash and javascript seems to be enabled. Is there something I am missing or have not done/installed when I reformatted. many thanks, soukio...

From IE go to Tools - Internet Options - Advanced and click on the Reset button to restore IE to its default settings.
Then download and install the latest Java runtime from here.

That's java, he's having a problem with javascript which is completely different.
In IE's options there should be an option to enable/disable javascript so you could make sure that's set correctly.
You could try a different browser like Opera (http://www.opera.com/) to try and determine whether the problem is with IE or somewhere else.

Incorrect, you need the Java runtime environment installed to be able to run javascripts.
