Energizer "universal" battery charger (only does nimh batteries) if nicd batteriies..

were inserted...anyone know what would happen.... I know alot of teh chargers have a switch for nimh/nicd so I assume there is a reason.... or are energizer just being capitalist and wanting me to rebuy their battereis
