Re: Want to Hack your Harmony?
mmm was thinking the same. let us know how it goes.
A comment from another forum says its only for communication and not an interface at the mo.

Re: Want to Hack your Harmony?
I don't know anyone else but I have a few niggles with the programability of the Harmony 1000.
This could sew things up I am sure....
*Eagrely awaits support of the 1000*

AIUI it's a cross platform software package to rival the Harmony software, presumably it might have more 'flexibility' than the proprietry software.
I will be corrected if I have it wrong for sure!

Re: Want to Hack your Harmony?
I might have aplay with this later but am low on HDD space and waiting for my new lappy if it allows you more control over the actual programming hen that would be very cool especially the ability to input HEX code. That and store off line copies of the config are what harmony is lacking

Re: Want to Hack your Harmony?
It's interesting...
For XP you load the code into Visual Basic, and just compile... so it's a programming tool?
I can program Visual Basic, but I would like to see some of the code that you are meant to mess around with first.
If you can edit the greyed out startup sequence, that would be nice.

Re: Want to Hack your Harmony?
It allows me to program my remote from my linux PC.
I use http://members.harmonyremote.com to set it up, and concordance to update the remote.
