Freesat PVR availability?

Anyone got any up to date info on the expected release date for a PVR?

Depends on who you speak to, John Lewis have said "next month" while the guy who has been working on the development of the product has said on DS "longer than a month but less than several".

How long is a piece of string is the question I am afraid.

I think the Olympics, Wimbledon and Euro 2008 are the major HD events this year - and an HD PVR will presumably be most useful for Beijing (being halfway round the world).

I'd expect them to be aiming to have them in homes by August - though whether they manage this...

You would like to think it going to sooner than later.

Personally, I'm in the market for a pvr (was going to get the humax) but now with freesat I think I'm going to wait a bit longer for a machine that does both.
