Freesat, some info please...

Hello,

I´m really interested in this FreeSat but I have a few questions if people can help please?

Will it be better quality than Freeview?

If installed will I be able to run more than 1 TV off the single dish?

Do you think it is worth paying the extra and going for SKY HD? I mean, will SKY get all the Freeview/Freesat HD Channels too?

Varys with Channel! - ITV, for example, is not good anywhere - but is worse on satellite. Many channels are equal or better.

The LNB (the business end of the dish) can be single (one receiver), quad (4 normal receivers, 2xSky+ or other PVRs) or even octo (up to 8 normal receivers or 4xPVR)

Sky-HD will get all the Freesat HD channels (except possibly ITVHD for a while!) and, for £10 a month extra to Sky, also gets many HD channels which are only on Sky!
