BitComet status light?

Ive just set up my pc again, and ive got it connected to my Belkin wireless router via ethernet connection, when im using bitcomet I have a yellow status light which says I need to configure my NAT because the listening port is blocked??? How do I do this? I have a NTL cable modem but I dont know what model it is how do I find out what it is and can someone please explain to me how to set up the NAT in layman terms because im thick! Any help much appreciated thanks.

you need to "port forward" the port the BT client is using, it means logging in to your router and opening the port then the status light should turn green.
