Can someone who already has a BD30 which came with the two free Blu-Ray DVDs confirm whether or not there were any externally visible signs on the carton that the discs would be inside?
In other words, was the box plain, or was there a big sticker on it with 'Free discs inside!' written on it. I'm in contact with a supplier who has stock, but he's 'not sure' if the discs are included. He said there was nothing on the box stating they would be inside.
Getting the two discs is part of my justification strategy to SWMBO  |

When I got mine, it had an outer wrapper covering the actual box (like a sleeve), and this indicated that the free discs were inside.

I got a phone call on Monday from AV Sales to say that their shipment of BD30's will arrive in a couple of days and mine would be delivered to me on Friday (2nd May). No free discs unfortunately; apparently Panasonic have run out.

JeffB is correct. Unfortunately if the boxes don't have the wrapper then there will not be any free discs inside. The major problem is that Panasonic only had a limited number of the offer units which went to a lot of the multi-nationals and Panasonic shops etc. By the time they had units available for a many of the independents who had originally ordered offer stock they had run out of discs and so the offer was closed.

Amazon have the BD30 showing as 'in stock' at the moment - and the description says it still includes the 2 free films. Just went on the website to check the order I put in a few days ago (when delivery estimate was 2-3 weeks) and shows as dispatching soon - and still states that 2 free films included.

Ones currently shipping from DABS.COM have the 2 films (as well as the wrapper indicating this).

Argos also have them in. They are not in the latest catalog but they are on their website. |

Does anyone know what changes are with the new stocks, and if the multiregion remote hack is affected.

Mine came with no indication on the outside of the box to say that the free disc`s were inside, so i was very surprised when i opened the box to find them inside.

I can't see any reason why,the remote hack won't work on new stock.
