Re: recommend Me Some Headphones

Hi,

I think the problem here is the budget

There aren't that many Phones produced by the major manufacturers at that price level.

You could perhaps start by looking at the cheaper end Sennheisers - you'll not go far wrong with Senns.

You don't really give enough detail about your requirements to give firm recommendations,

but you might also look at iGrados, if it's more of a 'mobile' type you're after.

Re: recommend Me Some Headphones

As mentioned above Sennheiser headphones are a safe bet.

Sennheiser CX300 earphones have strong bass response (in my opinion rather too much) so they would be worth a look. If you can afford to increase your budget upto £50 then the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 Studio earphones are a big improvement on the CX300's and have a much more balanced sound.

If you prefer on ear headphones and can live with open back headphones then the Grado iGrado is only just over budget and possibly the best sounding streetstyle headphones available. They really do sound truly amazing for the money.

Re: recommend Me Some Headphones

Sound like a noob here. But are the Sennheiser CX300 and Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 Studio 'ear canal headphones'?

Re: recommend Me Some Headphones

The CX300's are under you budget at approx £25. The iGrado's are also within budget at about £35. The Ultimate Ears are well over budget at about £55.

The CX300 and Ultimate Ears are both ear canal headphones (also known as in-ear sound isolating earphones). See the link for a description of this type of earphone with information on the benefits and drawbacks.

The Sennheiser CX55's sound quite similar to the CX300's, but with nicer styling and slightly better fit for most ears.

Re: recommend Me Some Headphones

The ipod headphones that came with my ipod broke. Before i buy the CX300's one more question. What would be better the official ipod headphones or the CX300's?

Thank's

Re: recommend Me Some Headphones

just bought some senns px100, cost me £17 from play.com, very good value, the sound is much more balanced than any out the box headphones I own and they candle handle bass very well.

I use them for my laptop and mp3 player and work well with both, plus comfy, look good and practical fold design with case , for £17 ... what more can i say !!
