Lazy as Flock

Can't say I really got inspired by this theme, so this is a very desperate late entry.

Went out for an early morning bike ride yesterday, mainly on the hunt for bluebells. Was passing this field and rattled off a few of the baby lambs etc. The light was rather harsh, so it's not the greatest of shots. Better than nothing though

Re: Lazy as Flock

Thats actually really gorgeous light on that sheep. I would have got closer though (if possible) so that it was just that sheep on its own as the rest of the surroundings don't really add much to the photo.

Re: Lazy as Flock

I agree with ally,a shot with the lambs closer in the frame using the bokah to isolate them would have looked a tad better.

The Dof has had a weird effect here in that ,there seems to be a marked horizontal line of out of focus in top half of the image and sharp foreground at he bottom part.

I love these two headed lambs though....so cute

Re: Lazy as Flock

Same as the others have said really, a closer or cropped shot of the 2 lambs would have made a very strong entry, the other sheep are superflous to the photo.
All the same its very good though

Re: Lazy as Flock

well I disagree, I think it is a fantastic shot and I think the other lambs and sheep are important as they help demonstrate incredible depth of field (literally lol) and IMO make the photo more interesting overall.

also the existance of other sheep standing in the background adds to the fact that the main two subjects are as the title says, "lazy as flock"
