I doubt anyone will know the answer to this yet but I thought I'd ask anyway just in case

We currently have SkyHD with the MagicEye going upstairs to the bedroom.

I am interested in ditching Sky and moving to FreeSat but will I be able to use the existing Coax cable to the bedroom? and if so, change channels?

Thanks!!

Yep, although it remains to be seen if Freesat receivers will have a modulated RF output. Worst case scenario, you can buy a modulator for less than £30 :)

It depends on what type of "MagicEye" you have. If you have a tvLINK one, you can use the tvLINK®plus (http://www.tvlink.co.uk/tvlinkplus.htm) :)

Note that Freesat receivers are unlikely to have a powered RF output like $ky - so you'll either need to keep your $ky Digibox to power it, or buy the optional PSU for it.
