Charging for the first time?

How long have people been charging their iPhones on their first charge?

I would charge it first time for 10 - 20 hrs. Then use it until the battery is low (not completely depleted).
Repeat this cycle few times and charge it as you like (fully charge is prefer which about 2-3 hrs.)

Current generation of lithium polymer battery, besides the chemical part, they all have small circuit which is likely to be damaged, so..

- does not like to be fully emptied
- does not like high temperature (more than 40 C)
- does not like to be left more than 24 hrs.
- they usually have about 300 - 500 cycles (charge ---> unplug)

I have spend many hours of google research just to get these info..
If i am wrong please correct me.
