Afternoon all!

Anyone tried the prerelease version of Fring (VoIP client) for the iPhone??

I installed it last night and seem to work very well with the Skype part of it!

Hopefully it will work as well when I am in HK, OZ & NZ next week!!

Yes, ive been using it for a few days now and its seems to work well.

I've used it for Skype Voice and Chat and also Google and MSN chat. There are a few bugs, and Skype seems to have an audio delay of a few seconds but its quickly becoming my fave app on the iphone

Hi Guys

just wanted to say thanks for posting this because it solves a comms problem for my other half. She is all over the world at the moment and this will enable her to call me at my desk using MSN messenger, as well as calling me on my WM6 device as well.

So thanks!

Yeah I just hope that I will get enough good WiFi connections when I am away to use it to its full!!

Hi Guys

I seem to be suffering a complete memorty loss - I just got an iPhone for myself and I cant locate Fring in the installer - how would I get it there - done a refresh but nout there - tried "all packages" and its not there.

You need to add the source http://fring.com/iphone.xml to the installer. Refresh then you'll have a "Fring" package :)

If I wanted SIMPort - is that a similar thing - adding a direct link to the web site?

Thanks

Not used SIMport myself (synced with outlook instead). But this page (http://windows-mobiles.com/?p=121) looks helpful.

For some silly reason I cant sync with outlook.
My outlook is exchange based (which has never been an issue I believe) but whatever I do - it does not sync hence the SIM card route.

Thanks for the link.
