Changing the Head Unit on a 95 Astra?!?!

Guys,

When I put my Pioneer into the Astra, I'm guessing the display just above the head unit, in the dashboard (Date, Time, Temp, Radio Station etc) will stop working, is that true and if so how do I get it working????

IFRC there was a thread on here not so long ago about this very subject (not car specific though) , I will have a quick look, but I would suggest doing a search or trolling through the old subjects in this forum

The display will partly work, you will lose the station name and the date will disappear when the radio powers up although if you prefer to retain to date it can remain if you cut a wire.
