Hello one and all.

Am going to take the plunge and get a 8GB - on O2 sim only with unlimited downloads. Obviously i will not have the same "Cloud" access, but what are you experiences of this and what are the costs outside of contract.
Also what state and how common are other free WiFi spots around the place?
I take it the iPhone just searches for these and joins as it finds them.

All depends where you are. Not that many free open wifi networks around where I am. But that is what your EDGE connection is for and cover has been very good in my experience, but again depends on where you are.

Remember that constant scanning for wifi networks zaps battery life! But yes it will display them for you, shows whether they are open or secured and offer the option to join them.
