Foam or Compressed rockwool "Absorbers"

Ok Anyone have ideas on which is better FOAM OR COMPRESSED ROCKWOOL for absorbers.

What do you think of this product looks very cool decor wise

I would like to stick those to wall with air gap and then compressed rockwool in the gap to create a wider band absorber.
