Talking Is there a way to seperate the map screen of the sat nav and the receiver

Is there a way to seperate the map screen of the sat nav and the receiver so that they still work in conjunction with one another?

Re: Is there a way to seperate the map screen of the sat nav and the receiver

If you are handy with electronics you can do that on all satnavs, the screen just has a few wires to a a print board and you just make them longer....

But since you had to ask I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself if you catch my drift. There are also plenty of solutions you can buy that do that. Kenwood has an interesting one based upon the Garmin Nuvi software....
