iphone 8gb or 16gb

im wondering if i should take my 8gb iphone back and pay the extra £60 and get the 16gb one ?

8gb has capacity of 7.27gb

16GB has capacity of 14.8gb

as you have 14days to return it... though they might wonder why it hasnt been activated onto 02 yet ?

and start asking questions ?

might be safer to sell it on to someone that cant buy one.
as you can only get one from CPW apple store or 02 shop with debit/credit card

what would you do !

Re: iphone 8gb or 16gb

lets see...

do you really need that much space if you do, then go for it

if not... don't

sorry im not more help but its that simple

as to it not being active yet, just tell them it was a present and you will activate it when your currant contract expires say in 60 days...

but to be honest i don't think they will ask

and if they do...just do what i do

look at them in the most condescending way you can
and say DOES IT MATTER!!! they will say no...

Re: iphone 8gb or 16gb

the 8gb is around 7894mb

so i would say for the 16gb would be around 15894mb

using deductive logic of course

Re: iphone 8gb or 16gb

Yeah my 16gb iPhone has an actual capcity of 14.8gb too.

I originally started out with an 8gb iPhone when they were first released in the UK. However after a few months it was quickly filling up, and that wasn't using the video side of things either. So I sold my 8gb one and got a 16gb.

I'm so glad I did, as I've got loads of videos on it now, plus a lot more music. In my opinion it's definitely worth the extra money to go 16gb if you are going to use it all.

Also the 16gb iPhone is louder than the 8gb one (this may have changed now if they have updated the 8gb version) but the 16gb one I have, definitely has a louder speaker than my original 8gb one.

p.s I think Carphone Warehouse have a shorted returns policy with the iPhone than o2 shops, just in case you bought it from CPW.
