DVB-T Dongle and USB Query

I had a cheap generic DVB-T dongle with Blaze HDTV 2.5a which worked well (100+ channels using outside aerial) on both PC (XP Pro sp2) and laptop (Vista Home Premium) but was a little flimsy. It stopped working and I bought a similar replacement from Amazon.
The new one has EasyTV but will work with Blaze. Problem!! New dongle functions fine with laptop (albeit only 60ish channels) but only 10+ channels on 2 Xp machines (almost all radio). When scanning it pauses on active frequencies but does not identify them or save them. Could it be because the XP machines only have USB1.1 ports (I understand little about USB configs etc) but it didn't effect the original Dongle!

Re: DVB-T Dongle and USB Query

Don't fret guys and girls!!
Problem appears to be that my PC isn't dealing with USB 2.0, though it should do!!! Looking elsewhere for THAT solution.
