SKY+ to Optoma HD65 DLP Projector

Quick question...

What would be the best method in sending a video output from my SKY+ box to my Optoma HD65 Projector?

S Video?

Audio is already taken care of as i have the SKY+ connected to my Amp.

If S-video is the only better option after your composite video go for it.
The HD65 also comes witha scart/svideo to VGA adapter. Not sure how that may work.

Not sure what the connections are on the SKY+ box, apart from the normal RCA and the S-Video.

Even if i use the VGA converter that came with the HD65, the output signal is coming from the SKY+ box so i guess it depends on what the quality on that is really.

I think it comes with one of these... http://i21.ebayimg.com/01/i/08/3b/5d/b9_2.JPG ... however if i connect one of those to the SKY+ box, and then run the S-Video cable from that to Projector, will it really make a difference than connecting from SKY+ S-Video to projector S-Video?

You are not going to get better than s video. Just use a s video to s video cable at the required length you need.

Scart > S Video Like this..... CLICK ME

Use the scart to vga adaptor that came with your HD65. Plug that directly into the back of your Sky box, then run a VGA cable from the adaptor to the VGA input on the HD65. The VGA handles Scart RGB.

P.S. Make sure your Sky+ is outputting RGB, check your Sky menu.
