which 42-46' tv for ps3 gaming???

help me...
as i usually watch dvds through my exciting in-focus projector on a 100" screen, i am trying now to find a good 42-46" tv especially for gaming with my ps3. Which do you think is the best option (value for money ofcourse) with a limit of 1.500 GBP ? Please inform me if the best option for this purpose is a plasma or lcd tv?

Get the Sony KDL-40X3000/3500 which is the best LCD on the market,if you want a 46" you will need to stretch a bit

Or how about a nice 46" Sony V3000 for 1200 and get a nice little surround sound with the change..
