Hi folks,
I only just joined this excellent forum a few minutes ago, so please forgive me if this question has been asked before. I tried using the "search" function but didn't find the answer.
I've been looking at buying a new television, and I have chosen Sony as the manufacturer (partly because I already have a Sony RDRHXD970B HDD/DVD recorder).
I've been looking at the discussions on the V3000, W3000, and X3000. I've only just skimmed through the first few, and last few pages, as there are far too many pages to read them all. It has however just left me more confused than ever.
My question;
The X3000 is double the price of the V3000, but is it really twice as good?
Should I compromise and go for the "W" ?
I do watch a lot of television, so I want one I can happily watch for many hours at a time. So can I really justify the extra expense of the X series or would I be just as happy with the V or W series?
Ok, I know thats more than one question, but I'll be happy to go with the recommendation of this forum, as I know there are many knowledgeable people on here.
I'm not limited by funds, but I'd rather not spend any more than I need to ('cos I'm a Scotsman

).
