Help with YDL 6.0 on a PS3

Hi everyone,

I've successfully installed YDL 6.0 on my PS3 (Firmware 2.20) - very straight forward actually.

I only have 2 issues now, one which I can fix myself (display settings - have it set to 1080p yet for some reason it still doesn't fit the full screen?? Will play around tonight with this - am 99.9% sure what I need to use anyway .

My main problem is the Wireless functionality. I just can't seem to get it functioning, has anyone got any good guides on how to enable it - My Router uses WPA-PSK.

I'm not too far away from my Router so if needs be I can run a CAT5 cable under the carpet if it cannot be fixed.

Thanks, Chris.

Hi Chris,

Hmm, it seems that YDL does not natively support WPA-PSK encryption although this is always going to change as the distribution develops. Make sure your wi-fi is working in another mode. A quick check would be to changing your encryption on your router to WEP and seeing if it will connect then. If still no luck then try using no encryption. If still no luck then looks like CAT5 is your only option.

Have a look here http://www.terrasoftsolutions.com/su...i-config.shtml
