Looking for a 40" LCD

I have been looking at LCD tV's for a while but i just cant decide which one is the best choice. I dont know much about the refresh rate and contrast and all that but I see that samsung LCD's look good in the stores. I have been to samsung.com and they have four different 40" 1080p TV's. The only difference I see is the contrast ratio. I play xbox 360 and just wanted some answers to what to buy. Like 1080p or a 1080i/720p also the contrast ratio, whats a good one, and the TV must also have audio output for my bose surround sound system. Thank You

With LCD watch out for the response time. This is where the picture blurs with fast moving images. So that noticeable on games like First person shooters. Personally I don't believe specs I would check the set myself for this problem and ask other people about the TV and see what they think.
