Philips PET707/05 charging issue

Hi

I've had the above unit for a while now, problem is the rechargable battery unit seems to have died on me or at least I can't recharge it despite only charging it a few of times. I've struggled to find anywhere on line stocks the replacement batteries. I can still run the unit direct from the mains or from the car adaptor but this does mean I can't operate the second screen.

Any ideas on replacement batteries or how i might over come the problem?

Re: Philips PET707/05 charging issue

There is a Power Seller on Ebay uk, named Cheapest_Electrical, offering spare batteries for the PET 706, for £15. Whether or not this is also suitable for your player, I really could not say, but it might be worth an enquiry.
I have a PET 1030, which I find very good, but this has an internal battery.

Good luck with your search.
