Hey peeps.
I am looking to get a new LCD TV/Monitor for my bedroom.
I have narrowed my choices down to either the Samsung 22" SM225MW or the 20" SM2032MW.
80% of the time I use the screen as a monitor for my PC - 20% is used watching TV through my Thomson Freeview PVR so I am not fussed about built in Freeview.
Both TV's are £229 from Argos and since I have a £200 Gift Voucher for this store I would like to buy from there, as well as the fact if I'm not happy with it or it has dead pixels, I can take it back. :)
I am also not really fussed about the design of either - I don't like either one more than the other.
Which is the better panel? The 22" has a contrast ratio of 700:1 while the 20" has 1000:1. Apart from this I can't see a lot of difference in the specs but which screen is newer and does either one have a better quality panel?
Also, am I right to assume the smaller screen may look sharper than the larger as they are the same resolution, so I assume the pixels are just bigger on the larger screen?
I believe both screens can scale to 1080p and assume both have 1:1 pixel mapping due to the nature of the screens?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated from owners of either screen.
Thanks in advance.
