Startup and open Program

Hi,

I have a OQO mini computer which I use with GPS and OziExplorer mapping in my car. I want to program the computer to go to the OziExplorer program automatically on startup, that is without having to go to Desktop and click on the Ozi icon etc.

Could someone tell me in "Language for Dummies" how to set about it, please

there are a few ways this can be done.

right click the icon on your desktop and select 'Create Shortcut'.
this creates another shortcut icon on your desktop.
right click the new icon and select 'cut'.
and go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > STARTUP > and 'paste' the icon into the STARTUP folder.

that should do it!

Thanks but one problem:-My Startup only has two items against it, they are:
Rotating Utility and Touchmon (which ai'nt working!)

Can you tell me, please, what to do?

you need to move the shortcut icon on your desktop to your STARTUP folder. just copy and paste it.
