Hi guys,
I'm trying to stream files from my PC using Tversity as a media server, but am having some problems. I've had some good advice from the PS3 subforum, but I'm coming to the conclusion this is an XP issue, so was hoping for some specialist advice here:lease:
Tversity is supposed to run constantly. From its GUI I can start it, but it always stops after around 20 seconds. I can restart it, but it always stops again.
I've ran its debug feature from the command line, but it reports no errors, so I'm pretty convinced something within XP is turning it off.
I've been in services.msc and checked tversity is set to auto, local system account.
What I have noticed is that often when I go back to IExplorer, I get a Work Offline box comes up, saying no internet connection is available - could this be related? (see "offline" below)
Also, from eventvwr.msc, I get a DHCP error message - see "dhcp" below.
Could these be related to Tversity stopping? And how can I fix the dropped connection anyway, as it's rather irritating!
Win XP
NTL/Virgin cable
Belkin router
PC and PS3 connected to router
No problems with either accessing the internet.
Thanks in advance for any views, comments or help.
Regards,
MarkP
