want 40"-50" lcd tv,stand and pvr for £500 (no joke)

a friend at work wants a 40-50 " lcd hd tv with built in freeview in black,a tv stand and a pvr with freeview which can upgrade for more channels (i've told her topup-tv).

all for 500 big ones !!!

i told her my panny 26lxd70 cost £600 but she's not bothered by the name just wants a good tv.

any ideas ?

Or something from China (not to discredit China, but in the olden days I saw cheap plasma 40+" from China!).

I would like to find Nicole Kidman in my bed when I get home tonight but that isn't going to happen.

If she gets a cheapo stand that is going to be £40 if you manage to get some super bargain. If you get the PVR it is going to be £70 for a super bargain. Leaves you with about £390 to source a bargain 40" TV which I can't see happening.

the standard samsung stands are quite nice btw.
