Looks like Toy Story 3 (http://imdb.com/title/tt0435761/) is coming our way, in 2010.
"Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, departs for college."
To be directed by Lee Unkrich - the co-director of Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, and Monsters Inc.

Don't get me wrong I love TS1+2 (own the recent anniversary box set on DVD in fact! - God I need to update my collection list)... but my mum dumped my toys when I was... erm before primary school was out
Just a comment. "Day Care centre" - for toys? Huh?

WALL-E looks great. I saw the trailer when I took the kids to see Horton at the weekend.
WALL-E seems like a return to the original Pixar style (think 'Luxo Jnr', 'Red's Dream' or 'Tin Toy'). There's little dialogue although aparently John Ratzenberger will manage to squeeze in a few lines to preserve his Pixar streak.

Wasn't this supposed to be a prequel, originally? Thank god they decided against that - I'm pig sick of prequels and origin stories.
Having said that, I still think the original Toy Story beats Toy Story 2 every time - I didn't need that sappy song from the girl cowboy in TS2, that's for sure.
Toys Story 1 & 2 are STILL the BEST cgi animation films to date, despite the actual cgi looking dated. Wasn't Toy Story 2 recently voted the 'ideal storyline/plot' EVER. Wathed it on BBC HD over easter and wouldn't disagree with that.

Dunno, was it?
It doesn't amuse me half as much as the original. And the songs are pretty weak, too, whereas I Will Go Sailing No More and Strange Things are absolutely fantastic.

as much as i love toy story 1 + 2 my faves are without a doubt Nemo and Incredibles... i usually find kids in films HIGHLY irritating but the little brat in incredibles is sooo entertaining to watch!!:rotfl:
