help with my networking plz!

im using mylaptop to go on xbl but my sis is using the same router as me and i can hardly get connected using my laptop but the internet works on hers?!?!?!?!

help! ifed up with these stupid problems!

You are going to need to share a LOT more information about your connections if you want an answer.

BTW XBL is a technical term in Mark Up Languages. Are you sure that is what you mean?

aye, we'll need a bit more information if we are to help you.

What router is it?
How is your sister connected to the router? Wireless or wired?
How are you connected to the router? Wireless or wired? If wireless try connecting via a network cable and see if that fixes the problem.

If that doesnt fix the problem there is probably something wrong on your laptop, if it does there's something not quite right with your wireless settings or reception somewhere.
