Cost of new door frame

As title suggests I am looking to get a new internal door frame made and have a half hour fire door installed, I would like to ask if anyone has any idea on cost to do this just so I can get an idea before I ring around, I would try and do it myself but dont have the tools to carry out the job.

I dont yet have the fire door, would it be best to buy that from the carpenter aswell? as they might think it to small a job to bother with if yhe door is not brought from them.Or do you think they would charge too much for it? The door will also need a lock added to it but i will supply that.

Re: Cost of new door frame

well I use to be a chippy, so I would charge around £80-£120 labour. Not sure how much fire doors go for these days, but the frame should only be a few quid.
