Editing Options List when inserting disc or USB device?

I wonder if anyone can help with this please.

When a usb or disc is inserted a dialogue box opens up with:
" This disk or device contains more than one type of content. What do you want Windows to do? "

As you know it presents a series of options of what to do depending on the program listed i.e. copy disc with...., or view pictures with... etc depending on the particular progrm you're using on the pc.

What I want to know is how do you edit this list? When a program is uninstalled it leaves a remnant in this list which becomes a gap as there's no program there to back it up. How do you remove obsolete options from the list?

I'm using Windows XP MCE 5.1 with SP2

Any info would be a big help.

Many thanks.
