Sony PS3 - HDMI
Toshiba HD-EP30 - HDMI
Sky HD - HDMI or Component (Not decided)

Please feel free to PM me your quote or send me an email... as by the looks of it you are not allowed to quote on the forum?

Anyone? Or can someone point me to a list of ISF Calibrators, so I can try to figure this out for myself :lesson:
Also, I am having my 46W3000 swopped out on Friday due to the Purple/Green issue. Do I need to 'run in' the new TV before I even consider getting it calibrated?

I think there are probably more than 20 but not many who travel around the country. You will find that those who do travel generally travel everywhere....I was in Doncaster area for last 4 days.

I have just realised why both Piers and Gordon are busy now! :rotfl:
Home Cinema Engineering are pleased to announce a series of training courses, sponsored by Pulse Marketing and based in Telford in the West Midlands.
Piers Clerk, the founder of Home Cinema Engineering, is a licensed instructor for the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) and he will teach the ISF class assisted by Gordon Fraser of Convergent-AV. Together they have more hands-on video calibration experience than anyone else in the UK and have been regularly involved with previous ISF training.
Gerry Lemay, the originator of the Home Acoustics Alliance, (HAA) is coming over from the USA to teach the HAA class.
The training is intensive, but fun. The courses last 4 very full days and lead to ISF / HAA certification on successful completion of the on-line exams which have to be taken within 28 days of the course.
The first course is scheduled for 3rd March to 6th March 2008 and bookings are now being taken. The price per student is £1,200 including VAT . All course materials as well as refreshments and a buffet lunch each day are provided free of charge. All training will feature Sencore test equipment and students will gain hands-on experience.
The venue is Gray’s Hotel in Telford which used to be the TSB training centre and as such it offers superb facilities for training as well as comfortable rooms and good food. A special rate of £85 per night including dinner and breakfast has been negotiated with Gray’s Hotel.
Telford is easy to get to from much of the UK, being only 15 minutes off the M6 north of Birmingham. Alternatively travel by train and Telford station is just a 5 minute walk from Gray’s Hotel, or fly to Birmingham International Airport and then take a train.
I shall wait patiently now...
Hey,
sorry to knick the thread.
Just wondering how much you paid in the end?
I have a panny 6 panel/ax100pj/skyhd/dv29/ps3, just wondering if its worth calibrating and buying a Video processor or just upgrading to a 50pf10 plasma?
