Hi,

I used to be on homechoice from day 1 but recently it got changed to Tiscali TV. Its actually quite a good service considering the channel selections and the TV on demand and its the only way I can watch Telly as I live in an apartment that wont allow Sky dishes, No Virgin cable in my road and I cant watch Freeview as the Ariel is at the top of the apartment block and I cant get to it to change it so I have no choice. Tiscali TV or No TV ! I dont think I have another choice.

So the big problems I have are.

1. You can only watch it on 1 TV at home which means no TV in the bedroom unless I buy anotehr BT phoneline and pay a further line rental + a further £27 a month for Tisali. Very annoying. I did try buying a TV sender but the picture and sounds is aweful (I bought the most expensive TV sender I could buy at around £150).

2. They cant upgrade me to the new box yet (changing channels on old homechoice box is soooo slow) as they said my Exchange cant handle it yet (could that be true?).

3. I am buying a large 1080p TV to replace my old CRT. Would pictures look bad/pixelated on it with old homechoice box?

I would love to hear your comments.

Thanks

Hi, you say you have tried a TV sender. Is that the as a digi sender? We have had Tiscali Tv for a month. We are able to send the Tiscali Tv signal to other room's with a digi sender from Argos for about £49. The picture and sound sent by the sender are fine. Some of the sender's from Argos have a magic eye, so you can change the channels in another room.Or you could buy a Powermid from ebay. This is the same as the magic eye, but more effective.

Hi,

When i tried I did manage to send a picture/sound, but the picture was much fuzzier and the sound had a constant hiss and sterio did not work properly. I guess that I must have a thicker wall than yours.

Shame there are no real good picture senders as Im getting a new 46 inch HD TV and certainly wont be able to live with fuzzy picture on such a big screen.
