Are all HDMI cables 1.3 compatible?
I have an old Van den Hul 1m HDMI cable that I bought about 4 years ago for £50. I'm loathe to give it up but I've just got a new blu ray player and 1080p LCD TV. Will the cable do or do I need something different? Thanks.

Did you do a search? There are numerous threads on this topic, there are stickys on HDMI 1.3 in the av receivers IIRC. Have a read of hdmi.org or the FAQ at bluejeanscablescables. Your cable should be fine, I personally wouldn't worry about it. Is your TV HDMI 1.3? If not, your system will default to the next spec down that all kit is compatible with.
