37" or 40" with slim frame wanted

I have decided I can't wait another 2 months for the 40ZF to appear so am looking for a set.

My finance manager (the misses) wants a 37", but I would prefer a 40". Therefore looking for a slim frame (hence the ZF). I'll be watching lots of Freeview and Sky (via Tivo) SD stuff. Also have a PS3 so some 1080p/24p stuff too I hope.

I also have a PC with VGA out so was ruling out the Philips as they have no VGA input.

Want to spend little more that £1000, prefer less.

Can I ask the age old question of which set please?

An option is the 40XF355(just misses the 100Hz and 5:5 pulldown vs the ZF)

Yes I have looked at this thanks. The lack of 100Hz/24p is what worries me and some peoples reporting of backlight bleed. Just need to know what other users think on the whole.

Next choice is the Sharp 42X20 then,but banding is a bit scary

This 40" ZF seems to be exactly what so many people are waiting for, myself included! Hurry up Tosh!
